In Summer 2025, I enrolled in a public relations writing course where I served as a hypothetical PR professional for USA Swimming. These materials were developed for educational purposes. Audience Analysis

After researching USA Swimming, I created an Audience Persona to base the rest of my USA Swimming assignments on.

News Release

I created a fake News Release for USA Swimming about celebrating the company's 44th anniversary. The anniversary takes place at the International Swimming Hall of Fame and after the World Aquatic Championships.

Media Pitch

I searched through Muck Rack, SwimSwam News and Swimming World magazine for journalists to write a media pitch to on the fake "Splashiversary" event.

Diversity Analysis

I looked into USA Swimming's DEIA approaches and designed. CSR campaign for the company to incorporate.

Fact Sheet

I created a fake fact sheet for USA Swimming about celebrating the company's 44th anniversary. The fact sheet holds all of the details of the event.

Media Briefing

Received a fake prompt that Bomb Pop was redesigning their products to move away from the bomb association. The document holds the talking points my group mates and I created for a media briefing that fake journalist would be questioning the group on the redesign.

Email Campaign

This is an email campaign I created on Brevo for the CSR campaign pitch I created for USA Swimming after researching their DEIA initiatives.

PESO Model

I created fake Instagram and Facebook posts using platforms Zeoob and Koala for PESO examples that USA Swimming could use in their approach.
